Welcome to the Oyama Community Club's

Renovations and Improvements page!

Established in 1914, the Oyama Community Hall has been a cornerstone of our community for over a century. Run entirely by dedicated volunteers, the hall has served as a gathering place for events, celebrations, and community activities.

Thanks to the unwavering support of our community—through memberships, event participation, and generous donations—we are thrilled to announce exciting new improvements to the hall.

There are countless benefits to these changes, from increased rental opportunities (particularly weddings) to an even more vibrant and welcoming space for the community.

This marks the first major update to the exterior since 1984, giving our beloved building a much-needed facelift.

The upgrades we’re making honor the hard work of all those who have come before us, who poured their energy and love into keeping this hall a hub of activity and togetherness. We believe that by continuing to enhance and maintain the hall, we are giving back to those who laid the foundation and ensuring that it thrives for future generations.

We are excited to refresh the hall to better represent our vibrant community and continue its legacy as a treasured space for all to enjoy.

We are committed to keeping you updated every step of the way.

Exterior Renovation Plan

We are approaching these exciting changes in three phases, each designed to enhance the hall and make it a more beautiful and functional space for the community.

Phase One

Focuses on revitalizing the exterior with a thorough cleaning and a fresh coat of paint in an updated color. This step will breathe new life into the hall and give it an inviting look that reflects the pride we all have in our community.

Phase Two

Upgrading and replacing some exterior elements of the hall and adding new features, such as upgraded lighting to beautify the space further. These changes will not only improve the aesthetics but also make the hall more functional for evening events.

Phase Three

We plan to continue the beautification process with additional enhancements, including new building signage to make the building more welcoming and recognizable. We want the hall to truly stand out as a landmark that reflects the heart of Oyama.
